The main purpose of the D.1.4.2: FAIRshare Permanent Networking Facility ready, is to describe in detail the development progress of the Permanent Working Facility, and its main functionalities following its initial design process conducted in Task 1.1: “Methodology and standards” and reported in D1.1: “Report on methodology and standards”. The ultimate purpose of this document is to make sure that the requirements and needs of the different stakeholders of the FAIRshare project are met and are depicted in the development schemes.This report is organized in 5 chapters. The introduction provides an overview of the development process so far. Chapter 2 describes the main features and functionalities available in the Permanent Network Facility. Chapter 3 focuses on a specific functionality of the PNF, namely the advanced search engine, describing and depicting all the progress made and its current state. Chapter 4 provides a technical overview of the technologies and frameworks that were used for the creation of the PNF and the DATS Inventory, and Chapter 5 provides an insight into the future of the PNF and its sustainability plan.The Agricultural University of Athens (AUA) is the partner responsible for documenting this report, as well as keeping it up to date with possible future alterations/modifications.
